Fly out fishing to remote rivers can also be arranged.

Kenai river waterfront

Our Kenai River rental cabins sit on 5 private acres with 350 ft of frontage on the famous Kenai River with incredible shore fishing.  Each of our vacation cabins is available for your exclusive use whether you’re coming to the Kenai River for fishing, wildlife viewing, or sightseeing.  We offer fantastic views of the Kenai River, great bank fishing for red ( sockeye ) salmon and silver (coho) salmon, and our cabins have all normal amenities including a full kitchen and Direct TV for your use and enjoyment.

We are located on the middle river section of the Kenai River which is known to hold trophy size Rainbow Trout as well as tremendous salmon fishing. Trophy rainbows of 30 inches or more are not uncommon in this area during the peak season. The Middle Kenai River also offers anglers the opportunity to fish for the 1 million plus second run of Sockeye Salmon during July and the first part of August before they reach the Upper Kenai River. The best King Salmon (Chinook) fishing in this portion of the Kenai River is the last 3 weeks of July, although some seasoned local anglers will swear that the really big kings arrive in mid-June as part of the early king run. The king salmon run in the Kasilof river starts earlier in June. For more information, see our website "The Kenai River Cabins at Sterling".
